Bianchi M12 Holster

I've finally got round to picking up another Bianchi M12 holster.
This time I've made sure to get the OD version instead of that horrible foliage green that goes with the UCP camo.

I snagged this off ebay, it was brand new and pretty cheap.

I wanted this to go with some more old school kit that I have.

The holster itself is pretty good and was a mainstay of US forces for quite a while. Specifically designed for a medium framed pistol especially the M92.
The holster is sturdy enough that it will protect the pistol from knocks and bumps, however I've been used to my Safariland 6004 and this is a very slow draw compared to that holster, but then again I'm sure that this holster was designed to keep your sidearm secure.

  1. That goes extremely well with the ALICE kit. I had been looking at one of these as well for my older FSBE (1) gear, but I went for an old style 6004.

Will a 1911 fit in the Bianchi though?

  2. I had used my old Bianchi holster for PD games and had used my 1911 in it, it's still very secure, but not as snug as my 6004, You can tell that the holster was definately made with the M92 in mind.
However saying that I don't know if a P226 will fit in it.

I've just got to get an old style IFAK pouch and a compass pouch to finish it off.
